Minimum age

You must be at least 13 years old to use Viremail. This reflects the age at which children in the UK can consent to online services processing their personal data under UK GDPR.

Users aged 13 to 17

If you are between 13 and 17, we recommend you:

• talk to a parent or guardian about using Viremail;
• turn on two-step verification and add a recovery email;
• do not share personal details in your public profile;
• block and report anyone who makes you feel uncomfortable in mail, chat or calls.

We do not show ads, profile users for marketing, or sell data to anyone. Profile fields are optional and stay empty unless you fill them in. We aim to follow the principles of the ICO's Age Appropriate Design Code.

If we learn a child under 13 has an account

We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If we learn that an account belongs to a child under 13, we will close it and delete the associated data. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has created an account, contact us via the contact details on our website.
