Bring your mail from another provider
Copy your old email into Viremail and keep it in sync.
- Open Settings, Import mail.
- Choose Add account and pick your old provider from the list, or Other (IMAP).
- Enter your old username and password. Some providers require an app password, which you create in that provider's security settings.
- Optionally choose a folder to import into, and how often to check for new mail.
The import keeps running in the background, so mail that still arrives at your old address is copied across. You can pause it, and removing it keeps everything already imported.
A large mailbox can take several hours to copy. You can carry on using Viremail in the meantime.
