Undo send
Catch a mistake in the seconds after you press Send.
After you press Send, a small Sending… message appears with an Undo button. Choose it and your email comes back into the compose window, ready to fix.
By default you have 5 seconds. To change this:
- Open Settings, Appearance & reading.
- Under Undo send, choose Off, 5 s, 10 s or 30 s.
Archive, delete, move and marking as spam can also be undone from the message that appears at the bottom of the screen.
Once the time runs out the email has left, and it cannot be recalled from the other person's inbox.
