Notes

Open Notes and click Take a note… at the top. Type a title and some text, then click anywhere outside the note to save it. On a phone, tap the + button.

Checklists

Choose the checklist button in the bar to start a list. Press Enter for a new item, and tick items off as you go. Ticked items drop to the bottom and fold away, and the card shows how many are done. You can tick items straight from the card without opening the note. To turn a list back into plain text, choose Hide checkboxes.

Photos

Choose the picture button, paste an image, or drop one onto an open note. Large photos are shrunk before upload. A note can hold up to 8 images.

Pin, colour and pattern

Pin a note to keep it in the Pinned section at the top. The palette button sets a colour and an optional background pattern.

Archive and trash

Archive notes you want to keep but not see every day. Deleted notes go to Trash, where you can restore them. Notes in the trash are deleted for good after 7 days, or straight away with Empty trash.

Other devices

Notes are stored in a Notes folder in your mailbox, so they count towards your storage and show up in other mail apps that support notes. Labels, reminders, patterns and your own order are kept by Viremail. You can keep up to 1,000 notes.
