Sign in with a passkey
Use your fingerprint, face or device PIN instead of a password.
A passkey lets you sign in with the same fingerprint, face scan or PIN you use to unlock your device. It cannot be phished or guessed.
- Open Settings, Security.
- Choose Create a passkey and enter your password.
- Follow your device's prompt, then give the passkey a name you will recognise.
Next time, choose Sign in with a passkey on the sign-in page. A passkey counts as two-step verification on its own, so you will not be asked for a code as well.
Create one on each device you use. You can remove a passkey at any time from the same page.
