Share a board and rolesNew
Invite people by email and choose what each person can do.
Choose Share on a board and enter one or more email addresses. Pick a role:
- Owner: one per board. Can delete the board and transfer it to someone else.
- Admin: manages people, invitations, board settings and custom fields.
- Editor: edits every task, column and label.
- Member: adds tasks and edits the ones they created or are assigned to. Can comment on anything.
- Commenter: reads everything and comments.
- Viewer: read only.
People with a Viremail account see the invitation in Tasks and in their notifications, and can join or decline. Anyone else gets an email from your address with a link. Invitations expire after 14 days; you can resend or cancel them under Share.
Boards are private: only people on the board can see it, its tasks and its files. To leave a board, open the board menu and choose Leave board. An owner must transfer the board first.
If you delete your account, boards you own pass to the longest-standing admin or editor. Boards with nobody else on them are deleted.
